Pungent Non-Vegetarian dishes to Fulfill Your Appetite!

 


With so much diversity in India in terms of many languages, food, clothing, and festivities; one can get delicious non-vegetarian tikka dishes, rich gravies, curries, and fried & marinated non-vegetarian pieces to savor your taste buds. Pork vindaloo, chicken korma, wazwan  (a multi-course meal in Kashmiri Cuisine), Iromba ( main meal from Manipur), fish Tenga (Assamese dish), bhapa ilish (Simple dish from Manipur), Sunday kabab ( popular snack from Lucknow) are some of the popular non-vegetarian dishes. One can get these dishes in a fine dining restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. There are also chicken varieties; like Chettinad chicken, chili chicken, chicken biryani, chicken pakora, and chicken soup that you can order as appetizers. If you like to have a goat, lobster, fish, and lambs then some special dishes pertaining to them have been described below-  

Laziz Goat Handi


In this dish, lamb cubes are mixed in with yogurt, varied mild masalas, and cream. They are served with steamed rice or naan. It’s an ideal lamb curry to have for dinner.


In order to prepare this dish boneless lamb leg cubes, onions, desi ghee, crushed garlic paste, chopped ginger, bay leaf, red chili powder, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, green cardamom, cinnamon, mace (javitri), dry ginger powder, salt, tomatoes, and yogurt are needed.  


Lobster Masala


This lobster masala is a delectable Indian-style lobster preparation made with spices & freshly grated coconut. The dish has refined curry including lobster tails poached in aromatic, tangy tomato sauce. 


To make this dish; lobster tails, oil, fennel seeds, cinnamon cloves, cardamom pods, sliced shallots, green chilies, ginger and garlic paste, red chili powder, salt, turmeric, ground coriander, ground cumin & chopped large tomatoes are required.


Nalli Nihari


Nihari is a moderately cooked and seasoned stew cooked with shank marrow bones and meat. Lamb, beef, mutton, and even chicken are extensively used in preparing Nalli Nihari. Shank is mainly the round thigh meat. The muscles of the upper thigh of the animals because of their bone structure are resilient and dry and also complete of marrow. This particular kind of bone is the source of gelatin which is a degraded kind of collagen. The Mughals bought Nalli Nihari in the Indian subcontinent. At first, mutton nihari was favored by the noble lot, although, over the years other kinds of meats such as buff, beef, etc. were established.


For preparing this dish, mutton shank meat (cut into pieces with the marrowbone), lamb brain (optional), ginger paste, turmeric powder, whole wheat flour, garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, vegetable oil, salt to taste & ghee. 

To make Nihari Masala;  star anise, bay leaf, nutmeg, cinnamon stick, green cardamom, black pepper, cumin seed, fennel seed, coriander seed, cloves, red chili powder, dry ginger (powder) & turmeric powder are required.


To garnish the dish; ginger (julienne cut), chopped cilantro & lemon slices are placed.


Fish Tikka


This snack is pleasant to taste, zesty, and filled with a myriad of flavors. The tandoori fish tikka is an exceptionally famous dish from the northern part of India.


To cook one requires; thick yogurt, oil, onion paste, ginger paste, garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, nutmeg powder, red chili powder to taste, salt & fresh coriander for garnishing.


Tandoori Lamb Seekh Kebab 


This seekh kebab is quite famous in Pakistan & India. It is created with beef, lamb, chicken, and spiced ground meat. It is usually cooked on a barbecue and is mushy and juicy. To prepare this dish in seasonings; one will require salt, white pepper, cinnamon powder, ginger powder, nutmeg, garlic powder, cumin powder, garam masala, paprika, mustard oil, garlic paste, finely chopped mint, kasoori methi, finely chopped green chili, 

Breadcrumbs, gram flour, onion paste, ground organic lamb & large eggs.
